PAIGE SMITH
CANINE FIELD SPECIALIST
Paige received her B.S in Conservation Biology and Ecology from Arizona State University, participating in a variety of field work. After University she worked at the Arizona Game and Fish Department conducting research in preventative measures for wildlife disease. She then went on to work in the research department of the Penn Vet Working Dog Center in Philadelphia, PA. There, she studied and led research projects for an array of detection dogs, igniting her passion for working dogs.
After 4 years of researching dogs in varying capacities, Paige joined the WD4C team. When not working with conservation dogs, Paige enjoys working with sport dogs and training for protection dog sports year round. As a Canine Field Specialist at WD4C, Paige hopes to continue to expand the field of conservation detection through canine health and detection research.
